Tell us a bit about yourself

I’ve been in R&R recruitment for almost four years, but prior to this role I worked in finance. Outside of work I have a passion for interior design and vintage shopping!

When did you join R&R?

I started with FCC in June 2021.

What do you see as the biggest challenge in the R &R nursing sector today?

Juggling to prioritize the demand for shortfalls across nursing wards at facilities that need it most, with the influx of COVID-19 positions

What do you see as the biggest opportunity for R&R nursing?

Becoming a brand with a national clientele. The beauty of travel nursing is you can see every state, usually at the expense of your employer or facility. When we have more travel opportunities available to our employees, we will see a major growth within R&R.

How do you achieve success in your role?

I would say if you’re still enjoying the role, you must be doing something right. We are focused on growth with the expectation of achieving it, so I think that’s a great measure that things are going successfully. When the goals start looking unachievable, time to reassess.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

‘Worrying won’t change the outcome’ – Oprah Winfrey.

What are the values that drive you?

Working for an employer that is progressive and operate with integrity. I’m a firm believer in “If you look after your staff, they will look after you”.

What are your favourite parts of your job?

I enjoy the flexibility of working autonomously and marketing the audience that works for me – doing things my way. I’ve also enjoyed the candidate care that First Choice Care implement. It’s nice to reward staff.

What is a little-known fact about yourself?

When I was in LA I was invited to a house party at Justin Bieber’s and declined. Long story for another time.

Quick Round:

– Biggest pet peeve?

Doing things for people that are capable of doing for themselves. I’m also a little pedantic about being tidy. I’ve cleaned the office this morning already.

– Dream holiday destination

I could return to NYC time and time again. There is a spirit that NYC has I’ve not felt anywhere else.

– Favourite food?

Oreo McFlurries with hot fudge sauce.

What are you most excited about looking ahead in your job?

Reaching the numbers required to expand the team and watching the division take off.

Join the team that cares about you as much as you care about your patients
