2. We will contact you to discuss your expression of interest, where you'd like to work, and assess your suitability.
3. Successful applicants will be added to our mailing list and receive weekly vacancy updates for our available contracts.
4. Your references will be contacted via our online system 'Referoo' and be asked to complete a simple form.
5. You'll get an invitation to upload any required documentation to our online system 'Onboarded'.
6. You'll then be sent an invitation to complete any required mandatory competencies via our free education portal.
7. You are now ready for placement! We will contact you to confirm your availability and possible placements.
8. We draw up your applications and send them off to the facilities you have expressed interest in.
9. We will refer to your available dates and let you know of any new contracts that may suit.
10. We will follow up on your applications every two days. Please remember that most facilities work with multiple agencies and receive many expressions of interest for each role. They may not get back to every application.
11. Once a placement has been secured, we will write up your temporary employment agreement to be signed and returned.
12. If you require transport, our team will review travel options for you.
13. A travel itinerary will be emailed to you, and we will contact the facility for your arrival, accommodation and roster details.

Contracts range from 4 weeks to 12 weeks. Generally there will be an option to extend depending on your availability. The choice is yours!
Pay rates vary depending on the location of work. Rural and Remote locations pay higher than Regional locations. Placement incentives may be applicable, too, depending on the duration of the contract.
You will be covered under First Choice Care's Personal Indemnity and Workcover insurance.
Yes, every agency will have individual relationships with different facilities. We ask that you be upfront about any pending applications with other agencies to avoid being put forward twice.
Travel is covered to and from placement locations (one-off each way). If you terminate your contract prior to completion, you may be liable for your own return travel costs.
Each location will have its own rules regarding suitability for partners and pets. Your consultant will need to ask on a case-by-case basis. The simple answer is: sometimes!
You will be guaranteed a minimum of 38 hours per week, under a casual engagement.
First Choice Care will supply 2x scrub tops that you can wear with black pants or slacks.
