Refer a Friend - Metro (RN, RM, EN)- $500 each ($1,000 total)

 

  • The referral bonus of $500 each ($1,000 in total) will be paid via payroll (please remember that tax and super legislative requirements apply) once the recommended candidate commences with First Choice Care and works 15 shifts within 2 months from the date of activation.
  • The referred candidate must have a minimum of 12 months clinical experience to be eligible
  • Shifts performed in Metropolitan NSW Health facilities will not be applicable for this offer
  • If the referred candidate’s contract is cancelled this is NOT included as a contract worked
  • This offer runs indefinitely but is subject to change at the discretion of First Choice Care.

LAFHA Offer for Nurses taking on Rural and Remote Contracts

 

  • When you sign up to a Rural and Remote Contract with First Choice Care (FCC) we will provide you with a Living-Away-From-Home-Allowance (LAFHA) to compensate for additional expenses you may incur on the cost of food or accommodation while you are working away from home.
  • Eligible candidates will receive the $200 LAFHA payment weekly as per the FCC weekly pay cycle.
  • This offer is only valid for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and or Midwives taking on a rural and remote contract with FCC in New South Wales and Northern Territory.
  • The $200 LAFHA weekly payment offer is for new contracts in New South Wales and the Northern Territory accepted from Monday 18th of November 2024.
  • All contracts secured prior to the 18th of November 2024 and currently on placement in other states will have their contract honoured.
  • If you have a contract secured before 15/04/2024 but it commences after 15/04/2024 you will be eligible for the previous $150 LAFHA offer until you secure your next placement.
  • All rewards are at the discretion of FCC.
  • FCC reserves the right to extend or end this promotion.
  • Not valid with any other offer, expect when FCC approves.
  • LAFHA value will be pro-rata if a contract starts mid week. (e.g. only work 2 of 5 working days will be $200/5*2). 

 

$500 Flight Offer from New Zealand

 

  • New Registered Nurses (RNs) and Midwives (RMs) who successfully sign up with FCC’s Rural and Remote division are eligible to be reimbursed up to AU$500 for their flight to Australia (Queensland, Northern Territory, or New South Wales) from New Zealand.
  • This offer runs from the 8th of June 2021 – indefinitely. 
  • RNs and RMs must have never completed a Rural and Remote Contract with FCC or previously worked with FCC.
  • The eligible RN or RM must complete an 8-week (or more) contract with FCC’s Rural and Remote division.
  • The reimbursement will be paid after the completion of the 8-week (or more) contract.
  • In the event of an early contract cancelation by the nurse or facility, the travel incentive will not be reimbursed.
  • The eligible nurse must provide flight details and costs.
  • ONLY up to AU$500 will be reimbursed from your single flight cost.
  • All promotions are at the discretion of FCC’s Rural and Remote division.
  • FCC’s Rural and Remote division reserves the right to end this promotion at any given time.



QLD, TAS, WA Pay Increase


  • For Queensland, Tasmania, and Western Australia contracts, we will phase out the $200 Living-Away-From-Home-Allowance (LAFHA) and instead increase the base pay rate by $4.50 per hour for ENs, RN/RMs, CN/CMs, and CNCs.
  • This change applies to new contracts only secured from Monday the 18th of November 2024 and will not affect nurses currently on any current contracts.
  • Nurses currently on contract will have their existing contract terms honoured.
  • The pay rate increase applies to new contracts starting from the 18th of November 2024.
