Where do the candidates come from?
We source candidates from across Australia as well as Internationally. Our agency nurses are a vetted pool of qualified nurses who are ready to pick up casual shifts. Many of the nurses in this pool also nominate themselves for Rural & Remote contracts. They are then vetted for each contract to ensure they match the requirements.
What scale of healthcare business do you recruit for?

This depends on the role. If we are filling a casual shift, we have a pool of qualified agency nurses ready to go and will fill your shift immediately. We also have a pool of nurses specialising in rural & remote (R&R) work who will be placed in any R&R contracts

What are your candidate onboarding requirements?
Upon successfully clearing First Choice Care’s thorough pre-employment checks of criminal history and right to work in Australia, new candidates are required to meet several onboarding requirements that are reflective of our client agreements and commitment to compliance and quality.
These include a suite of clinical competencies reflective of role, completed vaccination records, fit to work declarations and evidence of a minimum 1000 hours clinical experience in the last 12 months, relevant to scope of practice.
