Yes you can! We’re the preferred provider for many different healthcare facilities across Canberra. You’ll be able to experience many different workplaces and explore the full extent of your clinical scope.

Do I get scrubs when I sign up?
Yes you do! We provide all our nurses with a high quality and comfortable uniform, either a polo shirt or scrubs. Designed in consultation with our nurses, the uniforms feature our stylish navy and the signature First Choice Care red tick.
Do I get paid more for Rural & remote contracts?
Yes! Rural nurses have a higher hourly rate which you get for choosing to work in rural locations. So, not only do you get some great allowances, but you’re also getting higher pay.
How do I get to each Rural & remote contract?
That is entirely up to you. We will arrange flights on your behalf to match your arrival and departure times with the contract. If you prefer to drive, we can provide fuel caps to help you reach your contract. You will be issued with an itinerary and have access to 24/7 support should you need to talk to the team.
Can I switch between Rural & Remote and agency nursing?
Absolutely! If you are in-between Rural & Remote contracts and wanting to pick up shifts closer to home, no problem, just update our team! Our Australia-wide presence means we have casual metro shifts and rural & remote contracts available across the country.
