  • How does working for First Choice Care Nursing Agency differ from traditional full-time and part-time positions?

Working with First Choice Care offers more flexibility than traditional full-time or part-time roles. You choose when and where you work, allowing for a better work-life balance. Unlike fixed positions, agency nursing lets you gain experience across multiple healthcare settings. Instead of a set schedule, you have the freedom to work as much or as little as you like.

However, it’s important to consider that agency work may not always guarantee consistent shifts, and availability can vary based on demand. You’ll also need to adapt quickly to different workplaces, policies, and teams. While flexibility is a major advantage, planning ahead and staying proactive with shift bookings will help ensure a steady workflow.

Hourly rates are usually higher due to casual loading which help to assist with leave entitlements. While you won’t receive paid leave, you will still receive superannuation contributions.
