First Choice Care is seeking experienced Registered Midwives with a background in Antenatal, Postnatal, Birth Suite, and Midwifery Group Practice. Candidates should have at least two years of post-graduate experience and be available for temporary contracts ranging from 4 to 6 weeks (full-time hours) throughout the Northern Territory, including Gove, Katherine, Alice Springs, Darwin, and Tennant Creek.
As a preferred supplier in Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia, Northern Territory, and New South Wales, First Choice Care offers a range of placements across various healthcare settings. About You:
You are a dedicated, qualified Registered Midwife who enjoys the adventure of travel nursing. You are resilient, adaptable to new environments, and maintain a positive attitude. We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- Current National Police Check certificate or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-graduate experience as a Registered Midwife
- Recent birth suite experience
- Neonatal Resuscitation (preferred)
- Fetal Surveillance Education (preferred)
- K2 Certificates (preferred)
- Midwifery Emergency Training (preferred)
- NT Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
- $200 Living Away From Home Allowance per week (T&Cs apply)
