First Choice Care is seeking experienced Registered Midwives with expertise in Antenatal, Postnatal, Birth Suite and Midwifery Group Practice to work throughout Darling Downs on temporary contracts ranging from 4 to 12 weeks (full-time hours). Positions are available in Warwick, Stanthorpe, Kingaroy, and Dalby.
First Choice Care is also a preferred supplier across regional and rural locations in Tasmania, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland, and New South Wales. We have contracts available year-round.

About You
You are a dedicated and qualified Registered Midwife who embraces the adventure of travel nursing. Resilient and adaptable, you maintain a positive attitude and thrive in new environments. You will possess the following:
- Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- Current National Police Check certificate or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Midwife
- Recent birth suite experience
- Neonatal Resuscitation (preferable)
- Fetal Surveillance Education (preferable)
- K2 Certificates (preferable)
- Midwifery Emergency Training (preferable)
- Australian working rights
- $200 Living Away From Home Allowance Per Week (NT & NSW Placements)
- $500 reimbursement for international travel costs (T&C’s Apply)
