First Choice Care are seeking experienced Registered Midwives and Clinical Midwives skills in Antenatal, Postnatal, Birth Suit and Midwifery Group Practice to work within Torres and Cape at facilities including Weipa and Thursday Island.

The Torres Strait Islands and Cape York Peninsula, located at the northernmost tip of Queensland, Australia, are a treasure trove of cultural diversity and natural beauty. About you
You are a dedicated, qualified, Registered Midwife and enjoy the adventure that comes with travel nursing. You are resilient and can adapt to new surroundings whilst obtaining a positive attitude. You will possess the following:
- Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- Current National Police Check certificate or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Midwife
- Recent birth suite experience
- Neonatal Resuscitation (preferable)
- Fetal Surveillance Education (preferable)
- K2 Certificates (preferable)
- Midwifery Emergency Training (preferable)
- Australian Working rights
- $200 Living Away From Home Allowance Per Week (NT & NSW Placements)
- $500 reimbursement for international travel costs (T&C’s Apply)
