First Choice Care is currently seeking Registered Nurses with a minimum of 5 years of experience for temporary contracts ranging from 4 to 12 weeks. These positions are available across the Torres and Cape region, including locations such as Bamaga, Thursday Island, Weipa, and Cooktown, in Emergency, Multipurpose Health Services, and Theatre settings.
As a preferred supplier across regional and rural Queensland, Western Australia, New South Wales, Tasmania, and the Northern Territory, we offer year-round contracts with the flexibility to choose when and where you work.
Whether you prefer to fly or drive, these locations are easily accessible from anywhere in Australia. During your free time, you can explore local attractions like Pearl Island, Bat Falls, crocodile sightings, and fishing.

Key Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in your specialty
- Advanced Life Support Certificate (for emergency settings)
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (for emergency settings)
- Triage Certificate (for emergency settings)
- Competency in Venepuncture and Cannulation
