First Choice Care is looking for experienced Registered Nurses, Clinical Nurses, and Clinical Nurse Consultants for temporary contracts across North West Queensland. Positions are available in Mount Isa, Julia Creek, Normanton, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Cloncurry, Camooweal, and McKinley, with contracts ranging from 4 to 12 weeks (full-time hours). We have opportunities in various specialties, including Emergency, Multipurpose Health Services, Primary Health Care Clinics, Mental Health, Theatre, Medical, Surgical, Child Health, and Intensive Care Unit. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ post-graduate experience in any of these areas.

Requirements
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum of two years’ post-graduate experience
- NDIS Clearance (for aged care settings)
- Advanced Life Support Certificate
- Triage Certificate
- PALS, REC or MEC (for remote area nurse settings)
- Competence in Venepuncture and Cannulation
- $200 living away from home allowance (NT & NSW)
